Heidi first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1998 and has been teaching since 2008. Initially inspired by Kundalini yoga, she soon discovered Baron Baptiste. Heidi’s teachers include Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea and Anand Mehrotra. She has studied extensively with Elysabeth Williamson, creator and founder of Principle-Based Partner Yoga™, has been teaching Partner Yoga since 2009 and Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga since 2014.
Heidi Michelle has been a Master Trainer for Rapport Leadership International since 1995, is a high octane Holistic Lifestyle Coach, hosts Wellness & Yoga Retreats at her Villa in Costa Rica and her Sanctuary in Lake Almanor, California, founded DragonFLYoga SUP Yoga Teacher Training in 2015, and co-founded 200-hour Nature Yoga Teacher Trainings.

As a personal development and awareness facilitator from 1995 to 2002, Heidi’s passion for empowering people emerged. She has been guiding, teaching, and leading, in one form or another, ever since.
I believe health is our natural state and is living naturally and becoming who you really are. Health is a chill, relaxed and natural state. It’s practicing a life of ease.
Offering retreats, workshops and training in the United States, India, Mexico and Costa Rica, her yogic teachings feature a dharma-rich, gently demanding practice with an emphasis on yoga as a practice ground for life.
The addition of SUP Board Yoga to her personal practices and teachings has been an extreme delight!
